Doormats

The doormat is the first personalized thing a visitor sees, which is why it is one of our most-ordered housewarming and wedding gifts. We make two kinds. The natural coir mat has a thick fibre top that scrapes shoes clean and a printed design that sits in the fibres, so it looks like a classic welcome mat with your family name on it. The rubber-backed mat has a flat printed surface that shows fine lines and smaller text more clearly and stays put on a smooth porch.

Sizes are 18 x 30 in for a standard single door and 24 x 36 in for a wide or double entrance. Measure the step or the recess before you order; the size guide shows how: /size-guide/. For text, a surname with a house number or a short line like a greeting works best; long sentences get small and hard to read from standing height.
